Kochi , Nov. 27

The Banglaore-based builder Kristal Group has proposed to go for a consortium concept as part of providing value-added service to customers.

As par of this, the company has entered into an in-principle understanding with leading ayurveda company Pankajakasthuri Herbals India Ltd for providing healthcare to corporates.

The company's role will be to provide the infrastructure, the group Chairman and CEO, Mr K.K. Namboodiri, said at a press meet. To begin with, the concept will be tried in Kerala and Bangalore and later extended to other States, he said.

The company is also buying two houseboats from the Alappuzha-based Lakes and Lagoons, in which interested clients of the Kristal Group can invest up to Rs 1 lakh. The clients will be provided with an annual 10 per cent return initially, he said.

A similar concept will be tried for the luxury villa planned at Munnar. The returns for the investment of the clients will be the appreciation in the land value, he added.

Besides the consortium concept, he said the company is all set to start the construction of a series of new projects, which included apartments and villas in the State involving an estimated investment cost of Rs 250 crore.

More products

Encouraged by the response and demand for more products, Kristal is

adding two more projects in Kochi. The new project - Kristal Emerald - will be a deluxe apartment located at Vennala consisting of 150 flats.

Kristal Garnet is a full-fledged villa project consisting of over 50 luxury villas.

The rates for both these projects would range from Rs 35-45 lakh. The other apartment projects will be spread over Thrissur, Munnar, Kozhikode and Kannur, he added.
