PRICES ON THE RISE: Wholesale traders sorting out oranges at Mechua market in Kolkata. Oranges come from Nagpur to various markets in East India, including West Bengal. Prices of oranges are on the rise due to poor crop. The prices are ranging between Rs 10,000 and Rs 14,000 a tonne, up over Rs 3,000 since September.
