Artson shines on due diligence talk

The buzzing counter of Artson Engineering on Monday saw around a lakh shares change hands on the BSE as it closed with a gain of around 6 per cent at Rs 36.85.

According to market rumour, the would-be acquirer - Tata Projects Ltd, has completed due diligence and is likely to be taking a final view on the proposal of acquiring the controlling stake in Artson. According to Dalal Street talk, the order book position of Artson - a specialised EPC engineering firm - is robust. It is estimated that it has firm orders worth over Rs 90 crore, which could go up further in the next few months of the financial year.
