PSL bags Rs 308-crore order

High-grade pipe manufacturer PSL Ltd has bagged a Rs 308-crore contract from Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd for supply of pipes for the Vadinar-Bina pipeline project.

The company will be supplying 599.6 km of pipeline. This is the third pipeline order it has received in succession. The other two are supply for 736 km of pipes for HPCL's Mundra-Delhi pipeline project (value Rs 322 crore) and 552 km of pipes for GAIL's Dahej-Uran and Dhabol-Panvel projects (Rs 643 crore).

PSL is engaged in various types of pipe coating and pipe manufacturing activities, with plans across Daman, Kandla, Chennai, Varsana and Visakhapatnam. It has a total manufacturing capacity of 11 lakh tonnes per year.
