Chennai , Dec. 1

The Ad Club-Business Line Quiz 2006, which will focus on advertising and marketing, will take place on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hotel Savera in Chennai.

The event will see winners walking away with cash prizes worth Rs 50,000 and a horde of other prizes ranging from Samsung LCD television sets to items of interest to hardcore professionals.

Those who wish to participate in the quiz, but have not yet registered, may do so by opting for the on-the-spot registration before the event, according to Mr V. Kalidas, Vice-President (Advertising), Kasturi & Sons, publishers of The Hindu group of publications.

This is the ninth Ad Club-Business Line quiz competition and the focus on advertising and marketing is appropriate because the Advertising Club of Madras is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year.
