CII meet on organised retail

Keeping in mind the recent spurt in organised retailing in the State, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is holding a conference on `Organised Retail: Opportunities in Andhra Pradesh' here on Saturday. "In recent times organised retail is growing at a rapid pace, not just in metros but also in tier II cities. We need to study this phenomenon to explore opportunities in this sector," a CII release said here. Mr Vinod Karnam, President (Subhiksha Retail), Mr Seshu Kumar, Head (Rural Retailing) of ITC Intl. Business Division, and Mr T. Srinagesh, Chief Operating Officer of GMR Hyderabad International Airport, would address the conference.
