The Peerless General Finance and Investment Company Ltd is sponsoring the 28th edition of Federation Cup football tournament, which will be held at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata from December 18 to 30.

Mr S.K. Roy, Managing Director, Peerless group, said that football is one of the most popular sports in the country played and watched by millions of people and with this event being organised in a grand way, there is no better event for which the Peerless Group could be the title sponsor.

The Peerless Federation Cup will offer a total prize money of Rs 26 lakh. The winner of the tournament will take home Rs 12 lakh while the runners-up will get Rs 7 lakh. The third-prize winner will receive Rs 2 lakh.
