The fourth edition of the Outbound Travel Road Show (OTR) would be held from January 15-23, in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi, according to Mr Rohit Hangal, Director, India International Travel Mart (IITM).

OTR is the only multi-destination road show. It is a completely B2B event, providing discerning travel products. About 60 participants from 10 countries would take part in the event, he said in a press release here.

Countries such as the UK, France, Australia, Switzerland, Dubai, Sri Lanka and Cyprus are among countries that have taken part in previous OTRs.

With outbound travel growing rapidly, the OTR is expected to provide a good platform for the travel trade industry to discuss issues and devise newer options for the benefit of the traveler, he said.

The other edition of IITM is to be held in Pune during December 8-10. Hyderabad, hosted the three-day IITM meet last week, where Iran participated in large number.

More than 10 State tourism departments participated in the meet, the release added. Star Cruises, SriLankan Airlines, Travel Tours were other major participants.
