VSNL Singapore to offer services to Yahoo!

VSNL Singapore Pte Ltd has said that it will provide voice peering and termination services on a global basis to Internet company Yahoo!

The company did not go into the financial details of what this entails.

This contract will allow exchange of Voice over Internet Protocol services and retail call termination for Yahoo!'s voice services, said a statement from VSNL Singapore , the global arm of VSNL Ltd.

Yahoo! will use VSNL's Teleglobe VoiIPLink service which allows for interoperability between VoIP networks, to terminate traffic anywhere in the world.
