National Highways Authority nod for AP, M.P. contracts

The board of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in its 61st meeting held recently, approved two BOT (annuity) contracts in Andhra Pradesh and one in Madhya Pradesh, all on NH-7.

The two projects in Andhra Pradesh are the 55-km Nagpur-Hyderabad project and another 31-km Nagpur-Hyderabad project being awarded to Soma-Avinash Consortium and to HCC Ltd respectively.

The highways authority also approved the re-award of Chitradurga bypass on NH-4 on Golden Quadrilateral, an 18-km project in Karnataka to Supreme-MBL joint venture.

In addition, the board also gave its investment approval for proposals pertaining to the Udhampur-Chenani and Muzzafarnagar-Haridwar projects.
