Wipro plans campus in Jaipur

Wipro Technologies plans to set up a campus at the upcoming Mahindra World City in Jaipur. The company has entered into a memorandum of understanding for 100 acres of land in Mahindra World City. Its campus will come up in two phases, of which the phase one spread across 25 acres will have a facility with seating capacity of 1,000 employees, said a company press release.

Wipro's chief operating officer, Dr A. Lakshman Rao, said: "Jaipur is today a new-age investment destination in North India, has abundant skilled manpower, and offers excellent road and rail connectivity. Wipro's presence in Mahindra World City will extend and further strengthen its presence in Northern India. It will enable Wipro to benefit from excellent facilities being offered by Mahindra World City, which has pioneered the SEZ experience in India."
