Airtel launches voice chat facility

Airtel has launched the `Airtel Voice Chat' facility on the lines of Internet-based chatting. According to a press release, users registering for this service can talk to other users through an anonymous virtual mobile identity.

The service features options such as logging in and out from the chat and blocking unwanted identities from participating in a chat. The service would be available to post-paid and prepaid subscribers for a monthly charge of Rs 15 (for the chat application) and a per-minute charge of Rs 3 (for the duration of the chat), said the release.
