Surana Strips board to consider sale of units

Surana Strips Ltd has informed the BSE that a meeting of the company board would consider decision for sale of plant and machinery.

The board will fix the date and venue of the extraordinary general meeting for the approval of the notice for the sale of its closed and loss-making manufacturing units (including land and building, plant and machinery, stores and spares among others) individually or together situated at Plot No 6 and 20 Phase IV, IDA Patancheru, Medak District, Andhra Pradesh and Survey No 337 and 429, Chitkul Village, Medak District, Andhra Pradesh.

Further, the board would consider the approval of the postal ballot for voting by shareholders to sell or otherwise dispose off whole or substantially the whole of the undertaking under Section 293(1)(a) of the Companies Act 1956.
