Reliance Communications announced a New Year Bonanza for its prepaid customers in Karnataka - a special tariff voucher of Rs 199. Lifetime customers can now make calls to any Reliance mobile at 40 paise a minute while calls to other mobiles will be charged at 50 paise a minute. The rates are down from the previous charge of Rs 1.99 a minute. The voucher offers a talk time of Rs 110 and the benefit of tariff for a period of 30 days. A recharge voucher worth Rs 2007 was also announced.
