Skoda Dec sales up 6 pc

Mumbai, Jan 2

Skoda India, one of the premium automobile manufacturers in India, has recorded sales of 838 units for the month of December, an increase of six per cent over 789 units in the same period last year.

According to a release, the company sold 12,202 units in 2006, inclusive of 769 units of the Skoda Superb (top-end luxury model), recording an increase of 36 per cent over the previous year (8,953 units).
