Nagarjuna bags Rs 255-cr fresh orders

Nagarjuna Construction Company Ltd (NCCL) has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that the company has secured new orders totalling Rs 255 crore.

These orders include a contract valued at Rs 131 crore for the execution of Rural Electrification Work under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidutikaran Yojana in Singhbhum (W) District of Jharkhand from the Jharkhand State Electricity Board.

The second order valued at Rs 42 crore is an EPC contract on turnkey basis comprising civil, structural, mechanical and electrical works for the complete water intake system for the 500-MW Chhabra Thermal Power Project, Chhabra District of Rajasthan received from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd.

The balance Rs 82 crore orders comprise of smaller projects, NCCL said in a press release.
