New tool from Sundaram Infotech

Sundaram Infotech Solutions, the information technology services arm of Sundaram Finance Ltd, has launched SmartLend Lite, a customised IT solutions targeted at the small and mid-sized NBFCs (non-banking financial companies) and banks in India and West Asia.

The company will kick off this initiative with the implementation of SmartLend Lite for a leading NBFC in Punjab and expects to add few more customers this year, according to a press release.

Developed in Navision 4.0 (Microsoft's enterprise resource planning solution), SmartLend Lite helps in automating application processing and credit appraisal, lease creation and initiation, disbursements, debt collections and collections management.

The company is now hiring over 500 professionals to take its headcount in Chennai to 750 employees. As part of its overseas expansion, it is targeting markets in West Asia and the US.
