Soyameal exports up 14% in Dec

Soyameal exports in December registered a 14.05 per cent growth to 6.15 lakh tonnes against 5.39 lakh tonnes during the same period a year ago. Mr Rajesh Agrawal, spokesperson and coordinator, Soyabean Processors Association of India, said in a press release that total exports during April-December this fiscal increased to 28.90 lakh tonnes against 17.85 lakh tonnes during the same period a year ago - a jump of 61.87 per cent.

Exports during October-December were 14.56 lakh tonnes compared with 10.40 lakh tonnes during the corresponding period in the previous year.
