Karnataka Bank raises rates on deposits

Karnataka Bank Ltd has announced increase in interest rate for domestic term deposits of 181 days to 364 days with effect from January 1.

A bank release said here that this hike in interest rate is applicable to all fresh deposits and renewals of maturing deposits of 181 days to 364 days. The revised interest rates deposits of 181 days to 364 days are: 7 per cent (6.50 per cent) for deposits below Rs 15 lakh, 7.25 per cent (6.75 per cent) for deposits above Rs 15 lakh and below Rs 50 lakh, and 7.50 per cent (7 per cent) for deposits above Rs 50 lakh and below Rs 5 crore.
