As many as 45 publishing companies from India and abroad are participating in the second International Book Fair And Cultural Fest to be held here at Marine Drive from February 2. The Chief Minister, Mr V.S. Achuthananthan, will inaugurate the 10-day fair, organised by DC Books.

The Union Overseas Affairs Minister, Mr Vayalar Ravi, and well-known literary personality, Mr Laxman Gaikwad, will be present at the inauguration. Eminent culinary expert, Mr Sanjeev Kapoor, will spice up the cookery day celebrations with a live cookery show. The State Education and Cultural Minister, Mr M.A. Baby, will attend the closing ceremony on February 12.
