Morgan Stanley invests in Oberoi Constructions

Morgan Stanley Real Estate has invested Rs. 675 crore in Oberoi Constructions, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

According to Mr Anand Madduri, Executive Director and Asia-Pacific Portfolio Manager for Morgan Stanley Real Estate's Special Situations Fund III, the investment represents a continuation of Morgan Stanley's strategy to provide growth capital to companies such as Oberoi Constructions who have differentiated development capabilities across all real estate classes.

Mr Madduri also added that the investment is one of Morgan Stanley's largest equity investments globally.
