Retailing States - Other States Nirula's to change outlet formats Our Bureau
"By introducing three new formats - Nirula's Express, Food Court Unit and Ice-Cream Kiosks - we will try and make the brand more accessible to our customers. Through the new formats, we will also try to maximise our reach into high traffic locations," said Mr Samir Kuckreja, Managing Director, Nirula's, according to a company release.
Expansion plans
While the 200 sq ft each Nirula's Express would be located at airports, railway stations, malls and metro stations, the larger 400 sq ft each Nirula's Food Court Units will be located primarily in malls, movie multiplexes and large commercial complexes. The first Express outlet recently opened at the Delhi Airport, while the first Food Court Unit started operations at a mall in Delhi NCR.
