Provogue raises Rs 146 cr from pref issue

Mumbai Jan 22 Provogue (India) Ltd has raised Rs 146.25 crore from private equity investors such as Fidelity, New Vernon, Blackstone, Genesis Capital, Artis Capital and Liberty International. The private investors will subscribe to 3.25 million new shares at Rs 450 a share. The funds will be used to fund Provogue's realty and retail expansion.

"The bulk of the money will go to Prozone, the company's realty subsidiary," said Mr Salil Chaturvedi, Director.
