New Delhi, Jan. 22

Mr Ajay Bansal, former Director, Business Development, Yum! Restaurants, has hinted at the possibility of forming a new venture with two other top officials who quit recently.

"Though we have still not decided our next step and are still in discussion regarding that, there is a strong possibility that we might do something together. We should make a final decision in the next couple of weeks," said Mr Bansal. The other two who quit were India head, Mr Sandeep Kohli, and the CFO, Mr Anupam Bhattacharya. Yum! Restaurants, is the owner of Pizza Hut and KFC. Industry sources said that in all likelihood the three could set up a new venture in the food sector, since they were the brains behind the success of Pizza Hut and the re-launch of KFC in India. Pizza Hut currently has over 130 restaurants and KFC has around 50 outlets in the country.
