International Travel House has recorded a profit-after-tax of Rs 2.40 crore during October-December 2006 as compared to Rs 1.77 crore recorded during the same period in 2005. The board of directors approved the financial results here on Wednesday.

In a statement, the company said that for the nine-month period ended December 2006 it recorded a 13 per cent increase in profit-after-tax of Rs 5.66 crore, up from Rs 5.01 crore. Turnover during the third quarter stood at Rs 143.18 crore, up 19 per cent, from Rs 120.31 crore. During the nine-month period, the turnover increased by 17.18 per cent at Rs 421.71 crore.
