SCI to buy ships from China

Mumbai, Feb. 3

Shipping Corporation of India has announced that it has signed a contract for construction and delivery of two Medium Range product tankers of about 47,000 DWT each from China. The contract was signed with the Foreign Economic and Technical Cooperation Co of China, Changjiang National Shipping Group and China Changjiang National Shipping Group Corporation Jingling Shipyard.
