Advertising Corporate - Outlook 3M display screen for in-store advertising Anjali Prayag
"The screen can be cut to form a logo or an image and offers a 160-degree view ability," says Mr Raj I. Patel, Business Manager. Content on the screen displays can be remote-controlled from anywhere in the world so supermarkets can flash the same message or different messages in all their stores, depending on what they want to convey, says Mr Patel. "Marketers are looking for display options which are light to use and flexible and can be placed anywhere in any form."
Talks with retailers
In the US, several large retail chains such as Target and retail outlets of Select Comforts, Clarions, Volvo and Peugeot have used the display screens in all their outlets. In India, 3M is talking to several large retail chains, Mr Patel said. But he felt that awareness was a big concern here as the sector was just opening up.
