Coimbatore, Feb. 16

Oracle is rapidly extending its reach across India. The company has in the first phase of expansion set its foot into 17 cities, taking its total reach to 23 cities. It expanded into Pune, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Kochi, Vishakhapatnam, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Indore, Lucknow, Nagpur, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Jalandhar, Guwahati, Nashik, Goa and Raipur in the last 10 months.

The Managing Director of Oracle India, Mr Krishnan Dhawan, said the company selected and trained more than 70 new channel partners to establish its presence across these so-called `high growth' cities. With this expansion, its certified channel partners network has crossed the 400-mark.
