Kakinada Feb 21 Shivnath Rai Harnarain (India) Ltd, New Delhi, has exported the largest quantity — 37,275 tonnes — of the Swarna rice variety widely grown in the two Godavari districts, from the anchorage port at Kakinada to Egypt, according to a press release issued by the company.

A record 6,000 tonnes per day were loaded on an average. The vessel set sail for Egypt earlier this week.
