Hyderabad, Feb. 25

The State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) has announced a special term deposit scheme for senior citizens, beginning on Monday. The SBH 60 Plus scheme would offer an interest rate of 9.50 per cent for fixed tenure of 500 days. The rate would be compounded at quarterly intervals. A deposit of Rs 1 lakh would yield Rs 1,13,681 on maturity. The offer, which allows withdrawals of interest rates at monthly, quarterly or half-yearly intervals, would close on March 31, an SBH press release said here on Sunday.
