Visakhapatnam, Feb 27

Samudra Software has launched www.cricketshowdown.com for fans to try out fantasy cricket online during the World Cup. Mr Peter Schneeberger, Director, said that the site can be freely accessed by cricket enthusiasts, who can enjoy friendly competition with each other.

Users would have to register themselves before March 13, when the World Cup starts; they can set up leagues of their own by inviting friends. "Each team earns points based on the actual on-field performances of the players. The site has been developed by two US-based NRIs, Mr Vijay Garimella and Mr Krishnakant Nammi." For more details, enthusiasts can contact Ms Malabika Mukherjee at 0891-2811750.
