Hyderabad, March 5

Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd (GOCL), a Hinduja Group Company, on Monday announced a month long safety celebrations at their Hyderabad Works. The company claimed it has the unique distinction of having a 100 per cent accident free year, a record of sorts in a hazardous industry that is rife with such incidents despite adequate precautions. The National Safety Council acknowledged this distinction by giving the company the safety management award at the National Safety Day Celebrations held on Sunday, according to a company statement.
