Hyderabad March 6 Chandamama, the widely-read multi-lingual children's magazine, hopes to move on to the digital era and support its future plans using technical expertise and commitment of Geodesic Info.

Confirming the news of Geodesic Info picking up a stake in the magazine, Mr Viswanatha Reddy, Managing Director, said the company had been looking for additional help to carry out the future plans of the 60-year-old magazine.

"We are looking at it as a strategic partner to take Chandamama to the next level," he told Business Line.

Early this year, the company had announced to go digital and open a portal where it planned to store all the content generated in the last 60 years.

The financial aspects of the deal would be finalised after the extraordinary general meeting of Geodesic towards the end of this month.
