Charity golf tournament

The Bombay Presidency Golf Course will play host to the Christel House charity golf tournament on March 16. Puma Sports India Ltd is sponsoring the event, with the first group teeing off at 1:45 p.m. Christel House, a non-profit organisation that provides education for underprivileged children, is hosting three tournaments this year in Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi with Puma playing the lead sponsor's role. So far 33 pairings have signed up for the tournament at Rs 20,000 a pair.

The tournament is being organised by Tiger Sports Marketing and has room for 54 pairings. Some of the corporate heads taking part are Mr Kabir Kewal Ramani, MD, Berggreun Holdings; Mr Bharat Patel, Chairman, Proctor and Gamble; and Mr Sanjiv Bhasin, CEO, Rabo Bank. Other corporates participating include Yes Bank, Bright Brothers and the Forbes Group.
