Anveeksha-2007, a two-day national-level technical paper presentation event on `Futuristic technologies' in the field of computer science, began at St Aloysius College on Thursday. Inaugurating the event, Dr Aloysius Sequeira, Registrar of National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), highlighted the growing importance of knowledge workers who need to be trained from an early age. Fifteen colleges are participating in the symposium; papers will be presented on soft computing, network security, business intelligence and emerging technologies, according to a release.
