Nabard aid for AP projects

Hyderabad, March 20

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned Rs 18.24 crore for six lift irrigation projects in Andhra Pradesh. These projects would provide water to 3,151 hectares in East Godavari, Kadapa, Nalgonda and Vizianagaram districts. With this additional sanction, the cumulative sanctions under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund XII for Andhra Pradesh stands at Rs 787.72 crore for 2,203 projects, a Nabard press release said.
