The Hindu Business Line : CII meet on farmer development

The Confederation of Indian Industry will hold a conference on `Sustainable integrated development of small farmers and Indian agriculture — A roadmap on public-private farmer partnership (PPFP)' here on Saturday. The conference would provide an overview of experiences and practices in the agriculture sector and identify avenues to promote public-private partnerships among farmers, a CII press release said. Mr N. Raghuveera Reddy, Andhra Pradesh Minister for Agriculture, Mr N.V. Ramana, Managing Director of BASIX and Mr Vikram Akula, Chief Executive Officer of SKS Microfinance, would address the meet.
