To offer twinning programmes in New York, Sri Lanka, Mauritius

New Delhi, March 31

The Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG) plans to open education centres New York, Sri Lanka and Mauritius. In New York, it plans to set up a clinical boutique to offer medical education. The boutique would later be expanded to offer IT courses as well.

In Sri Lanka and Mauritius, it plans to introduce a range of coursessaid Dr Ramdas M. Pai, Chairman, MEMG International India Pvt Ltd. The programmes offered by the Group abroad will be on a twinning basis, whereby students would be required to pursue a part of the course in India. The degrees would be awarded by the Group itself. These centres would be run in addition to MEMG's overseas campuses in Dubai and Antigua (Caribbean).
