Andhra Bank cuts NRE rates

Andhra Bank has revised interest rates on Non-Resident (External) term deposits with effect from April 1, 2007. According to a release issued here on Monday, the interest on NRE term deposits between one year and above and less than two years has been revised to 5.72 per cent from 5.74 per cent per annum, on deposits between two years and less than three years to 5.52 per cent from 5.55 per cent, and 5.46 per cent from 5.48 per cent on deposits for three years and above. The revised rates are applicable to all fresh deposits and renewals for the existing deposits.
