Protests again at HMSI

Our Bureau

New Delhi, April 4

Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HMSI) on Wednesday witnessed fresh protests from its employees against the official police report that absolved the company and the actions of the police officials in the lathi charge that took place in 2005. The worker union demanded that the CBI look into the matter. Despite the protests, the production at the factory remained unaffected as the workers protested after their work hours. Workers of ITC-owned Classic Golf Resort, Fashion Express and Amira Foods also supported the HMSI employees in their sit-in protest.
