Meet on India-Lanka trade pact

A two-day awareness programme on Indo-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement and B2B meet will be arranged under the auspices of the Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Government of Sri Lanka at Taj Residency here on April 16 and 17. Prof G.L. Peiris, Minister of Export Development and International Trade, Sri Lanka, will head a delegation of businessmen from Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka to participate in this two-day event. It will provide opportunity for the businessmen in Kerala to meet their counterparts from Sri Lanka. The areas of interest of the visiting business delegation include cashew, automobiles, fisheries packaging, cinnamon oil, spices, rubber, plantations, chemicals and paint, film industry and entertainment. Businessmen interested to participate at the programme may register at the Chamber Office on phone 2380950, 2354885.
