Private Banks States - Kerala South Indian Bank opens regional office in Palakkad Our Bureau
Kochi April 17 In a bid to de-centralise operations further, the South Indian Bank opened its 12th regional office at Palakkad in Kerala. The need for the new regional office emerged from the phenomenal growth of the bank as well as the need to provide faster service to its increasing clients, Dr V.A. Joseph, Chairman and CEO of the bank said at the inaugural function.
FACILITIES
"With the support of our valued clients and cooperation of over 4,000 members of staff, the bank could achieve what was planned at the beginning of the last fiscal - Rs 20,000 crore in total business, 475 branches in 23 states and union territories, 175 ATMs and implementation of 100 per cent core banking solutions in all its branches and offices," Dr Joseph said in his presidential address. With the cooperation of the district administration, the bank intended to do what was possible for the integrated development of the region. Mr Krishnadas, MP, hoped that the integrated development of the region would be rendered possible with the motivation and support of South Indian Bank, which is also known as Kerala's own bank.
