Month-increase
Indian is the only airline that has registered an increase in its market share in March 2007 over February 2007, the statement said. Indian's domestic seat factor of 71.8 per cent in March 2007 is also higher than the industry average seat factor of 69.5 per cent. The statement said Indian has been able to achieve a higher market share because of initiatives like premium economy fares, surf and save and corporate super saver scheme besides product upgrades in both technology and inflight service and a highly improved on-time performance, increased reach and connectivity and participation with global distribution systems.
