Kuoni Academy ties up with Swiss school

Mumbai May 2 Kuoni Academy of Travel, a New Delhi-based travel institute, has entered into a tie-up with International School of Tourism Management, Switzerland, to offer two courses in travel and tourism segment.

The tie up will also give an opportunity to candidates to spend a month at the institute in Switzerland during the duration of the course.

A one-year post-graduate diploma course in travel and tourism management has been designed to seek a career as travel executives in tourism, hospitality, aviation and travel sectors. It would cover subjects such as organisation, marketing, customer-care and human resource management. The course fee is Rs 2 lakh.

Another course called Tour Managers Programme, which is for three-and-a-half months, would include modules like travel geography, tourism industry, tourism product manual, documentation, airlines and ticketing, customer service excellence and foreign language. The course fee for this programme is Rs 1.5 lakh.
