Bonus Announcements Bosch Chasis announces 1:1 bonus issue Our Bureau
Bangalore May 07 Bosch Chasis Systems India has announced a bonus issue in the ratio of one bonus share for every share held. Following this, the company's paid-up share capital will increase from Rs 10.39 crore to Rs 20.79 crore. The accounting period ended December 31, 2006 was a truncated period of nine months. This was carried out to facilitate consolidation of results with the parent Bosch Group at the global level. The sales revenue and related profit are therefore not comparable with the previous year, a statement from the company said. For the nine months period April to December 2006, the sales revenue (including other income) was Rs 370.50 crore. On an annualised basis for the 12-month period, April 2006 to March 2007, this works out to Rs 507.4 crore. The profit after tax for April to December is Rs 26.4 crore. On an annualised basis this works out to Rs 37.5 crore. The company expects to localise safety systems like ABS and EPS (electronic power steering) by 2010 after domestic volumes reach economical levels, the statement said.
