Mumbai May 15 Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) has reshuffled its management committee. As part of the changes, Mr Sanjay Dube, Executive Director - Sales and Customer Development, has been appointed Chairman, Poland and Baltics, Unilever, with effect from June 1. Mr Sanjiv Kakkar, Executive Director - Marketing & Strategy - Foods, has been appointed as Executive Director - Sales and Customer Development, in place of Mr Dube and Mr Shrijeet Mishra, V-P Activation - Asia AMET, Unilever, based in Singapore, has been appointed as Executive Director - Foods, in place of Mr Kakkar and will be joining the management committee. Mr Ashok Gupta, Vice-President, Legal, has been appointed Executive Director - Legal, and will replace Mr M.K. Sharma in the management committee. Mr Sharma, who has been with HLL for more than 32 years, of which 12 years as a director on the board, will be retiring on May 31. Ms Leena Nair, Vice-President, HR, has been appointed Executive Director, HR, and will be joining the management committee. The appointments are effective from June 1. Mr Sanjiv Kakkar is already a member of the management committee from January 1. Announcing the appointments, Mr Douglas Baillie, CEO, HLL, said, "The appointments reflect our strong commitment towards people development that harness experiences & synergies of talent across our functions and markets."
