Allianz Cornhill gets certification

Thiruvananthapuram, May 16

The Systems Development Division of Allianz Cornhill India, the offshore captive centre of Allianz Insurance plc, UK, operating from the Technopark campus here has been certified at SEI CMMI-Level 5, the highest maturity level in the Capability Maturity Model - Integrated (CMMI). The facility joins the small but elite group of IT service providers in the world to have achieved this feat. A team of auditors led by Mr Stephen Fletcher of MIJ Consulting, UK, conducted the necessary audit. Allianz Cornhill India was certified at CMMI-Level 3 in 2005.

The company is a captive offshore unit of Allianz Insurance plc, UK, among the largest general insurers in the UK.
