Hyderabad, May 17

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has asked the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), here to organise a week-long certificate course on anti-corruption during June 18-22. The bank has approached the IPE to do the course as part of its overall strategy to bring in transparency in the functioning of Government departments and rid them of the corrupt practices to become citizen-centric, according to an IPE press release here on Thursday.

The programme would be attended by public officials charged with the responsibility of preventing corruption and fighting it at various levels, including legal remedies and the transition required to overhaul public administration to root out corruption, the release added.
