Hyderabad May 17 The Andhra Pradesh Government has set up a one-man commission with the retired judge of the Andhra Pradesh High Court, Mr Justice P. Ramakrishnam Raju, to enquire into land issue.

The first is to go into the allotment of Government lands at Rs 1 lakh per acre and grant of mining lease in favour of Raghuram Cements Ltd, Hyderabad. About 87.20 acres in Tippaluru village of Yerraguntla Mandal and about 81.53 acres in Nallingayapalli village in Kamalapuram Mandal in Kadapa district were allotted to the company.

The commission has to complete the inquiry and submit its report within three months of assuming charge.

In another notification, the Government also appointed Mr Justice Ramakrishnam Raju to probe certain illegal sales and registration transactions in Nadargul village, Saroornagar Mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
