MAIT lauds Raja's appointment

New Delhi May 18 The Manufacturers Association of Information Technology (MAIT) has welcomed the appointment of Mr A. Raja as the Union Minister for Communication and Information Technology.

"India is rapidly becoming attractive for IT and electronic manufacturing and we look forward to Mr Raja's leadership in making the country a preferred hardware manufacturing hub for the world," said Mr Vinnie Mehta, Executive Director, MAIT, while acknowledging the contribution of the outgoing minister, Mr Dayanidhi Maran.
